GermanMAESTRO GMP 435 S Open Back Audiophile Headphones. GermanMAESTRO have taken the successful GMP 400 and made it portable. Equipped with highly sensitive, low-impedance drivers the GMP 435 S is the ideal partner for portable devices.

Lightweight sandwich diaphragms and copper-plated aluminium voice coils of the GMP 435 S create well balanced sound and an impressive bass response. With a low impedance the GMP 435 S are easily driven by portable devices such as MP3 players or iPods. The open-backed design of the GMP 435 S headphones ensures a natural and uncoloured sound experience.

To round of the perfect headphone experience GermanMAESTRO have incorporated unique five-dimensional "cardamatic" floating earcups. This suspension of the earcups ensures a comfortable, individual fit and prevents infiltration of microphonic noise. Soft, leatherette earpads make the comfort factor complete. A gold-plated 6.35 mm stereo jack adapter is included.

Excellent Sound but not too comfortable

I bought these after my Bose Qc3's broke ( by the way, stay away from Bose, they're very fragile).

I had done some homework and the GMP's were highly rated and I have to say

the sound quality is excellent (better than any Bose I ever heard, much less…
