The Audia Flight FLS4 Stereo Power Amplifier is a remarkable high-performance stereo amplifier, offering an ultra-fast response (with a bandwidth exceeding 0.7 MHz), immense power output—up to 700 Watts—and virtually limitless speaker-driving and control capabilities. Like its Strumento Series counterparts, the FLS4 chassis begins as a bespoke, ultra-high-grade aluminum casting. After precision CNC machining, each part is meticulously inspected and hand-polished to a mirror finish. Critical areas receive additional manual treatment, including shot peening and anodization, with the final aesthetic perfected through an elegant silk-screening process. Inside, the FLS4 features fully balanced circuitry, carefully selected high-end components, 32 premium power transistors, and a power supply built around low-impedance capacitors—totaling 288,000 microfarads in the main supply alone. At the heart of the amplifier lies Audia Flight’s exclusive class A current-feedback gain stage, fully enclosed in an aluminum housing and encapsulated in epoxy resin for optimal thermal stability and isolation from interference. The main power supply consists of sixteen 18,000 µF / 50V low-impedance capacitors, configured into two ultra-high-current power supplies per channel. Each channel also includes four independent regulated stages—two for the input circuits and two for the current-feedback gain stage. True to Audia Flight’s design philosophy, a separate 15VA toroidal transformer powers the logic control and protection circuits, fully isolated from the audio signal path. In total, the FLS4 integrates twelve independent power supplies, custom-designed PCBs with extra-thick high-purity copper traces, and a massive 2,000VA toroidal audio transformer—dual-shielded with ferromagnetic layers and fully resin-encapsulated—driving the output stage. Rejecting conventional fuses in favor of a microprocessor-monitored current sensor eliminates any sonic degradation, ensuring uncompromised performance. With an output of 200 Watts RMS into 8 Ohms and numerous design elements drawn from the prestigious Strumento Series, the Audia Flight FLS4 delivers both technical excellence and a profoundly engaging musical experience.
